This project will replace the existing four-lane bridge on Route 1 over Chopawamsic Creek, which is located just south of the Russell Road interchange and overpass near Quantico Marine Corps Base. The bridge is located at the Stafford County and Prince William County line.
Demolition of the existing bridge and construction of the replacement bridge will be conducted in phases to allow Route 1 to remain open during the project.
