Construction is underway to build Route 2092, a new secondary access road in Spotsylvania County's Thornburg area.

The road will be parallel to Route 606 (Mudd Tavern Road). Route 2092 is being built at the same time as a widening project on Mudd Tavern Road between Route 1 and I-95. 

Construction began in February 2023 and will be complete by May 27, 2025.
